I've ordered from there numerous times from either Mr Delivery or collecting myself and probably spent thousands on the sushi platters because it's actually quite good. However, 2 days ago I met one of my friends there who ordered a big plate of sushi. I wasn't hungry and didn't eat but he insisted I try 1 piece. As I picked up the chopsticks 2 ladies stormed me and shouted No! No! you can't do that. I got such a fright and was so embarrassed by the scene they made. They could have warned me before when I sat down or have some signs up to say you can't share... not that we were sharing. Anyway, they won't get my or my mate's business anymore. AWKWARD!

Had the R95 buffet tonight, didn't know that it was a pre selected bunch of sushi, should be mentioned on the paper. I guess the catch is filling up on things you might not necessarily order usually(And it wasnt boring like avo or crabstick). I dont enjoy those slices of raw fish, but I ate everything on my plate anyhow. Couldnt finish 4 pieces of the 8 of tempura prawn that I ordered(free)after the buffet and I usually eat loads of Sushi. They are big pieces, the fish flesh isn't minimal like best of asia. The wasabi and ginger is generous and i love it to burn so I can smell the roses from a mile away, and it did this! Thumbs up for that. Compared to other prices in the Western Cape it's a bargain for your buck, seems to be run by friendly family? The service could be worked on with keeping up with the patrons requests for more drinks to help the sushi go down. I will be returning again most certainly. I recommend sitting inside so you dont get bothered with beggers passing by outside in the street... Noticed it happen twice to a table outside. Comes with the territory. The inside was nice and pleasant, a big screen on the wall, with a goldfish tank on the counter buffed up the feeling of the place. I realy cant complain about spending R150 on 2 beers and a sushi buffet and an extra plate of tempura prawn california roll.

I go to Wonderful 3 x per week and that must say something for their great value! Not only is the Sushi the cheapest in Cape Town but their lunchboxes are enough to feed me for the entire day! i could not prepare their meal at the price of R49-00 charged. Recommended a very worthwile try-out

undoubtedly the most awful sushi in the whole of Cape Town. The sushi chef stacks on the rice...with very little filling..the sushi tastes like you are eating a ball of rice with tiny bits of tiny filling. my most dissapointing sushi sitting in the whole of Cape Town (and i eat sushi a lot). oh and the buffet has the crappest rules. you have to first finish a platter of pre-selected sushi that they give you before you can order anything else you want. if you want value for money...dont go here because its a rip off.

Tasty inexpensive dishes, but sticking to take-away as the restaurant always looks cold and uninviting. Though have to repeat, the food is great!

As of most of these places the restaurant lacks atmosphere but the food is great and cheap. You get more than value for your money and the staff is great. Service is not bad either. We get sushi there every Monday evening!

I love this place. Delicious, fresh sushi, gentle and friendly service and overall - a winner. All you can eat for R89, salmon roses that make your mouth do flickflacks. If you are looking for brilliant sushi, at good prices, and enjoy the idea of buzzing and laidback Seapoint main road as a destination, check it out!
