Luigi ran this small 35 seater until about April 2010, when he was diagnosed with cancer. He and his wife ran a delightful and intimate restaurant with good service - beware any server who erred or was inattentive to his gues. Here you were part of a family. The restaurant is now under new management within the family, a son I believe. My wife and I visited in June 2010. We ordered and were made to wait 45 minutes for our starters, which finally arrived. My wife's main arrived about 30 minutes thereafter and I am still waiting for my main today! (June 2011!) When i approached the counter to ask where and why the new owner came to the reception area and fiddled in a cupboard, and when I asked him where the meal was - he just ignored me. I paid for our meal with great reluctance and we left most dissatisfied. The ambience has also been destroyed with big-screen TV, so no more delightful Italian music, but raucous football and other teenage delights to disturb your meal. We will not be back. Luigi's wonderful hospitality will however live on in our memories.
